“While I expect excellence from my students, I also respect their self-esteem and use positive feedback and encouragement as motivation for improvement. As an accomplished performer, I demonstrate for my students the importance of reflecting expression and emotion in their music. Several of my students have won first place and grand prize standings in competitions. Though I take music and my position as a teacher very seriously, it is my continuous goal to make learning an enjoyable experience for each individual.”
